来しゅうまつ
今日、私はとてもうれしいです。金曜日に、私の友だちはアメリカに来ます。友だちの名前はラリサさんです。カナダ人です。子どもの時、私とラリサさんに会いました。休みがあるから、ラリサさんはアメリカに行くつもりです。休みに、私はラリサさんといっしょにえいがを見に行くつもりです。クラスにもラリサさんをつれて来るつもりです。ラリサさんはみなさんに会うつもりです。

私のふゆ休み
こんいちは！みなさん、お元気ですか？ふゆ休みはどうでしたか？私のふゆ休みはよかったでした。私はあたらしいうちにすんでいます。いいうちです。うちはノスハムプトンにあります。私は友だちといっしょにふゆ休みにたくさんたのしいえいがをみました。私はちょっとかいものもしました。ふゆ休みはちょっとあつかったでした。ノスハムプトンはふゆがあると思いましたが、でもふゆがありませんでした。みどりのクリスマスがありました。

私のかんしゃさいの休み
かんしゃさいの休み、私のかぞくのうちに食べ物を食べに行きました。食べ物はおいしかったです。それから、私はかれしといっしょに彼氏のお父さんのうちに行きました。食べ物もおいしかったです。彼氏いっしょにえいがに行きました。"Hugo"を見ました。私はおもしろいえいがだと思いました。

Internet Censorship

Hello, classmates! I wanted to interrupt my usual Japanese blog to talk about the Internet censorship bill that the US government is currently trying to pass. You might have noticed the black bar across the title of my blog: if you follow the link, you can learn more about this bill. Basically, this bill will allow the government to shut down entire sites if they feel that those sites are infringing on copyright laws - sites like YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, tumblr, deviantart, and even Blogger would be taken down completely if even one or two users post copyrighted material. "Infringements" even include things like someone covering a pop song on YouTube (even if the original song is NOT used), background images that have copyright attached to them, or links to copyright material EVEN if you are not the one hosting it. People who "infringe" on copyright could go to jail for up to five years even if they are in no way profiting from their "infringement". This will also give the government unlimited power to censor social networking sites - a convenient way for them to stop political movements like Occupy and this very anti-censorship movement. If this concerns you, please follow the link above and sign the petition, or email your House and Senate representatives to tell them that you do not support this bill.

私のしゅうまつ
私のしゅうまつはよかったです。私と私の彼氏はえいがに行きました。The Three Musketeersを見ました。たのしかったです。それから、私はあにめを見ました。ソルイーターを見ました。よかったです。私もべんきょうしました。日本語とえいごのぶんがくとれきしをべんきょうしました。こんしゅうわいそがしいですね！
My weekend was nice. My boyfriend and I went to a movie. We saw The Three Musketeers. It was fun. Later, I watched anime. I watched Soul Eater. It was good. I also studied. I studied Japanese, English literature, and history. This week will be busy, won't it!

こんにちは！せんしゅうは秋（あき）のブレクでした。わたしはともだちにあいました。いっしょにゲームをしました。ビデオゲエムをしました。わたしはわたしの彼（かれ）にもあいました。えいがをみました。ゲームもしました。土曜日と日曜日にべんきょうしませんでした。でも、月曜日と火曜日にべんきょうしました。こんしゅ たくさんしゅくだいをしますね！
